Hybernate is committed to caring for the environment which is why we are thoughtful about what we make, how we make it and how we deliver it to you.

1% FOR THE PLANET

We are proud members of 1% for the Planet where we commit to donating 1% of our revenue directly to environmental nonprofits. With the help of our customers, we selected two inpsiring organisations to donate to: The Ocean Impact Organisation and 1 Million Women.

WHAT WE MAKE

Our pima cotton is grown in Peru and is carefully harvested by hand. The farmers use bird waste as a natural fertilizer, which is collected on nearby coastal islands.

Hybernate sleepwear is made of a superior quality and highly durable fabric so it will outlast your other sleepwear. This means its environmental footprint will be significantly less as it is a garment’s longevity that has the most significant impact on how sustainable an item is.

HOW WE MAKE IT

Hybernate’s collection is made in Lima, Peru by a Peru Fair Trade certified manufacturer. This certification ensures you can be confident the people making your clothes work in good conditions and are paid and treated fairly.

HOW WE DELIVER IT

Our packaging has also been thoughtfully considered.

• Your Hybernate pieces are lovingly wrapped in our FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified tissue paper which means the paper has been sourced in an environmentally-friendly, socially responsible and economically viable manner. The paper is also acid free and uses soy ink which is more environmentally friendly and makes it easier to be recycled.
• The enclosed invoice is printed on 100% cotton which has been sourced from the waste part of the cotton plant.
• The bags we use to send you your sleepwear are 100% compostable and biodegradable. They're made from corn and can biodegrade in less than six months.
• Our courier deliveries are carbon neutral as we offset 100% of the carbon emissions. For each delivery, our couriers calculate how much carbon is generated from the moment a parcel is picked up to when it's delivered. We purchase carbon offsets to support projects that prevent and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by the same amount to achieve net-zero emissions overall.

This is just the beginning for us, and as we grow, we continue to look at further ways we can help be as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.
